I am Qiugu He,  an assistant professor in the School of Economics, Nankai University, Tianjin, China. My research interests are in the areas of macroeconomics, international trade, and industrial organization.

My research tries to address some of the most challenging problems faced by China and offer theoretical support. My work focuses on understanding the impacts of policies,  like trade regulation or intellectual property right enforcement, on firm dynamics.

Before joining in NKU, I obtained a phd degee in Economics from Singapore Management univeristy and obtained my master's degree in software engineering from Peking University. I also received undergraduate education in software engineering from  Central South University.
